Frequently Asked Questions

Anything comfortable. For table work, most undress to their underwear bottoms, and will be professionally draped throughout. Chair work is usually done clothed. Table work can be done clothed as well, but it’s more difficult to pinpoint tissues.
-
Bring your own water. Avoid eating a heavy meal right beforehand. Come with any areas of tension or goals in mind. We’ll talk through everything at the start.
-
Yes, I do. Send me an email at isabelamorenolmt@proton.me and we can figure out details directly. I charge an extra $15 for travel and and set-up, if you don’t have your own table.

Yes, I’m available for those, too. Just email me at isabelamorenolmt@proton.me, and we can square away details. I charge $80/hr with up to 10 mins/person.

“TEAM is designed to deepen our trauma-informed care skills through applied neuroscience, somatic awareness, therapeutic presence, and compassionate communication”
– Lauren Higdon, LMT, CYT, ABS & Somatic Relationship CoachThe Body Keeps the Score by Bessel van de Kolk, TEAM is a growing approach of bodywork based in the thought that the body is the ultimate vessel for all kinds of trauma. Our first priority is to connect to your nervous system first before getting into deeper tissues via your skin, an extension of your nervous system.
It’s a way to relax the body and address bigger tension points with less pain. It can also teach your body to become intolerant of discomfort, increase autonomy of self, and create safety within a person’s being, while never needing to bring up an inciting incident. After all, this is NOT psychotherapy. Through a combination of gentle touch, breath work, and affirmation, this method allows us to get deeper into tissues to address concerns with minimal pain.

Massage is healthcare. It supports our mental, emotional, and physical well-being. My work draws on myofascial therapeutic techniques, an understanding of kinesio-physiological patterns, and vagus-nerve soothing approaches.
Your nervous system is complex. It changes on a daily basis. My goal is to meet it where it’s at in the moment through breathing techniques and calming touch, in order to get into deeper tissues without pain. -
We start with a short conversation about your body, your history, and your needs for the day.
-
You set the pace, pressure, and which areas we work on. Choose between a full body session or focus on a specific region, levels of table heat, regular jojoba oil or lemongrass-infused CBD oil. Just about everything in your session is customizable.
-
We close with notes and simple at-home suggestions — hydration, tools, or stretches — to keep the relief going between visits.
